The Physicians of Northland Plastic Surgery

All four of our NPS physicians are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and perform the full scope of recontructive and cosmetic surgeries. All hold privileges at Essentia Health, St. Luke's Hospital and Lakewalk Surgery Center ambulatory surgical center adjacent to Northland Plastic Surgery.
Our plastic surgeons staff the Essentia Health Dwan Burn Center, treating all burn care inpatients and conducting several outpatient wound care clinics each week. They are on call 24 hours a day, everyday, for trauma and burn injuries, responding to all emergency rooms.
Dr. Baertsch:
- Serves on the Board of Directors for the Lakewalk Surgery Center.
- Serves as Medical Director of the Lakewalk Surgery Center.
- Founder and active member of Eduplast.
- Founder of Northland Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Weber:
- Serves as Medical Director of the Essentia Health Dwan Burn Center.
- Serves on the Essentia Health Medical Staff Peer Review Board.
- Serves on the Board of Directors for the Lakewalk Surgery Center.
- Formerly served as Chief of Staff of Essentia Health - Miller-Dwan Medical Center.
Dr. Messa:
- Serves on the Essentia Health Wound Care Steering Committee.
- Serves on the St. Luke’s Hospital Trauma Committee.
Dr. Rishavy:
- Serves on the Integrity Health Network Quality Improvement Board.
- Volunteers as plastic surgeon for Operation Smile.
